Optimism for the future of AAFES commerce continues to grow as the Exchange 2017 GM/MSM Conference concluded last week.  Exciting online initiatives and a resurgence in military spending had many conference participants revising their forecasts for strong growth in 2017 and beyond! Paragon’s employees and clients were truly inspired by the extraordinary presentation by motivational speaker, and American hero, Noah Galloway. With 17 clients in attendance Paragon was, once again, the largest exhibitor at this year’s event.  Our section encompassed over 1300 square feet of booth space positioned directly at the center of the show.

  Paragon is pleased to announce that The Exchange (AAFES) has expanded the assortment of our client, Sand Piper of California, to include wallets, tactical ID holders and other personal accessories.  Sand Piper of California is the leading supplier of tactical luggage and accessories to all Military Exchanges.

  The Coast Guard Exchange (CGX) has partnered with Spectrum Brands (NYSE: SPB) to introduce multiple market leading brands to their in-store customers.  Remington, George Foreman and Black & Decker products will join CGX core assortments during the first quarter of 2017.

After two years of study and debate, the Department of Defense has made a policy change, effective November 1, 2017, to allow 16 million honorably discharged veterans to shop online for discounted military exchange products.
